Hey Hollis! Glad to see the blog is still going nicely. We must convince your Mom to go to the meetings this year in NYC. As usual, that would mean a little Freud and very much shopping! My current idol, Isabel Marant, is opening her first US shop in January in Soho, I believe. Must go! I should have been born a French person, then I would be able to speak the language with greater skill and have that sense of style, that amazing French sense of style. One more thing, I know that your mom wants u to attend that Los something or other (insert spanish words here) program this summer. However, I would rather u go to the 4-week summer intensive-studies program for high school juniors and seniors at Parsons the New School for Design. Registration starts in November and fills up fast. I want to vicariously experience through you the road not taken, the career in fashion I could have had. The only way that I have found to mesh my love of fashion with my current career is by buying lots of clothes and then wearing said clothes while I am seeing my patients. Pretty lame!
